He disclosed that the Thursday meeting which has been scheduled for 1pm at the National Assembly complex follows SERAP’s request to Saraki to urgently explain to Nigerians if it is true that a Nigerian Senator gets N29 million in monthly pay, and over N3 billion a year.

Meanwhile, Senate president, Bukola Saraki, has been faulted by the chief whip of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa, for faulting the military’s declaration of IPOB as a terrorist group, Premium Times reports.

NAIJ.com had reported that Doguwa described Saraki’s statement that the military did not have the authority to proscribe the pro-Biafra group as a mere political statement.

Doguwa stated that Saraki’s statement was unnecessary; especially in light of the attacks meted out by the pro-Biafra group on innocent citizens.

In the video below, NAIJ.com asked Nigerians if they could name a politician in the country who is not alleged to be corrupt.
