No less than six people were reported injured after a clash erupted between residents of Danere community of Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State and Bodam region of Cameroon.
NAIJ.com learnt that several properties were destroyed in the clash which started as a result of poor boundary definition between the two countries.

Peace has however been restored to the communities after an intervention from security operatives of the two countries.
According to a report by Channels TV, the Cross River state’s commissioner of police, Hafiz Inuwa, who confirmed the incident said the youths have been advised to stay within their boundries and avoid violence.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that at least 17 people were reported killed over the weekend in clashes linked to a symbolic declaration of independence by Cameroon’s anglophone minority, sources said on Monday, October 2.
Amnesty International said that, “at least” 17 people were killed by security forces in the country’s two English-speaking regions, a figure that concurred with a toll given by official sources, who added that two Nigerians were among the dead.
