Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has set a target of ten goals and five assists this season for Nigerian international Alex Iwobi.
The French man made this known after Iwobi found the back of the net in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, on Sunday, October 1 at the Emirates stadium.
Speaking after the game, Wenger was full of praise for Iwobi, but was quick to set a new target for the youngster.

He said: “He (Iwobi) is the kind of player who has good availability.
“We want final balls and goals as well.
“A player like him must get 10 goals and 5 or 6 assists, that’s what I want from him."
Iwobi has enjoyed a meteoric rise into the first-team picture across the past couple of years and made only his second start of the current campaign in yesterday’s comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
His last five Premier League goals have all come at the Emirates stadium.
