Leicester City have announced the appointment of Claude Puel as the club's new first team manager on three year contract.
The 56-year-old Frenchman arrives the King Power Stadium having signed a contract to June 2020.

Claude will be supported by Michael Appleton, who retains his role as assistant manager. Appleton was previously interim manager after the sacking of Craig Shakespeare.
Claude led Southampton to an eighth-placed finish during the 2016/17 season, while managing both a UEFA Europa League campaign and a run to the EFL Cup Final against Manchester United.

Leicester announced that their new manager will be formally introduced to the media on Friday ahead of Sunday’s visit of Everton.
The former AS Monaco, Lyon and Southampton manager will take charge of his first Leicester City fixture this coming Sunday, October 29 against Everton at King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
