Roy Hodgson's team had incredibly failed to register a single goal or a single point until their shock win over the 2016/17 Premier League champions.

The Premier League holders were shocking going forward with Spanish striker Alvaro Morata sidelined with hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old joined from Real Madrid in a club-record £58m deal and was in superb form until suffering an injury during the 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea want to upgrade Morata's understudy and they are looking at former Liverpool striker Benteke, Leicester striker, Vardy and Tammy Abraham who is on loan at Swansea could be recalled.

Conte has proven overtime that he is no great admirer for the former Olympique Marsile frontman Batshuayi as he started only one game in last season's title winning campaign.

Batshuayi who was signed for £32m is yet to find the back of the net in the league this season and it has sparked up angry reactions from the Italian manager.
