Ex-Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan has offered his congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World cup.

Jonathan took to his both verified Twitter and Facebook page to congratulate the Eagles.

The former president have been a strong fan of the Super Eagles as he always shower them with lavish gifts during his days as the president.

Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi was the hero for Nigeria in Uyo as his second international goal in the 73rd minute gave Nigeria the victory over the Zambians.

It ended Nigeria 1-0 Zambia as the Super Eagles qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
