A mentally challenged Nigerian woman has allegedly identified a pastor in Oyo state as the father of her one-year-old baby.

The woman who was simply identified as Mary was recently found near the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo state.

Mary reportedly provided photos she took with her baby and the pastor when she was still pregnant with the baby to back up the story.

It was gathered that the shocking story first aired on a radio station identified as, Splash F.M in Ibadan.

According to the radio station, the accused refused to speak on the matter when he was contacted by a journalist from the station.

It was also reported that the Oyo pastor allegedly threatened the journalist not to air the story. Nigerians who followed the story on Splash F.M expressed their opinions on the matter.

They allegedly expressed that the pastor definitely knows something about the baby.

Although, the photos provided shows that the woman took a photo with the pastor while she was pregnant with the baby, it has not yet been confirmed that the pastor is the father of the baby.
