- Top NFF officials have claimed the Super Eagles of Nigeria will train in Morroco ahead of their final World cup qualifier against Algeria
- This comes even as the NFF has lined up more friendlies for the world cup bound Super Eagles
- The game against Algeria is an inconsequential one as Nigeria have already booked passage to Russia
Top officials in the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have disclosed the Super Eagles are to train in Morocco, ahead of Nigeria’s final World cup qualifier against Algeria on November 6, just as two friendlies are being planned for them during that window.
NFF second vice president Shehu Dikko said the Eagles will train in Morocco before they head out to Constantine for their final Group B World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
According to Dikko “The team will camp in Morocco for the match against Algeria.
“And during that time, we hope to take full advantage of the FIFA friendly window by playing at least two friendly matches because the other window before the World Cup will be in March.”

“We never go to a match with second team, we want to win our last match as well. At least not to lose so we can qualify without losing any game, it will be wonderful this is another challenge but I think we will play a second friendly game perhaps in Morocco to see all the players who couldn’t play in our previous games,” Rohr said.
Super Eagles became the first African team to qualify for the football spectacle in Russia next year with a 1-0 victory over the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Uyo.
