Arsenal ready to sell midfielder to Manchester United for £30 million

- Arsenal have put a £30 million price tag on anyone that wants Mesut Ozil in January

- The German playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United

- Ozil's contract ends at the end of this season and he has been reluctant to sign a new one

Arsenal are open to doing business with Manchester United over Mesut Ozil as long as the Red Devils are willing to cuff out £30 million for the German maestro.

Ozil has been heavily linked with a re union with former boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United all season.

With former Real Madrid playmaker refusing to sign a new contract Arsenal could lose him on a free transfer in the summer if they do not sell him in January.

The 29-year-old spent three seasons under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid and the Portuguese boss remains in contact with the midfielder.

Reports reaching NAIJ.com suggests that the United chiefs are willing to do business with Arsenal over the German in January.

Manchester United and Arsenal have done some businesses in the past but the biggest one was Robin Van Persie move from Arsenal to join sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United in the summer of 2012.

Van Persie ended up inspiring the Red Devils to their 20th league title which has also been their last League title till date.

The United hierarchy and fans will hope Mesut Ozil will have an equal impact if he eventually finds his way to Old Trafford.

Ozil came under a lot of scrutiny for his lifeless display against Man City at the Etihad on Sunday, Novemeber 5, same day United lost to Chelsea at the Bridge.
