- He also condemned the attack on innocent citizens by Boko Haram terrorists in Adamawa, and referred to the action as ‘cowardly’
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the latest attack by Boko Haram terrorists in Adamawa state; and the murder of Ian Squire, a British missionary, by kidnappers in the Niger Delta region.
The former VP made his comments in a series of tweets posted on his twitter handle, @atiku.
NAIJ.com notes that Atiku condemned the Boko Haram attack, and described it as cowardly.
He also expressed sadness at the killing of the British missionary, and stated that it was sickening that anyone would hurt missionaries who have been partners for education in Nigeria.
He tweeted:

Recall that NAIJ.com previously reported that criminals killed a British hostage kidnapped in the Niger Delta region; and the development was confirmed by the Foreign Office (FCO).
The murdered man identified as Ian Squire, was one of four Britons reportedly kidnapped on 13 October.
The British High Commission and Nigerian authorities reportedly negotiated the release of the 3 others- Alanna Carson, David Donovan and Shirley Donovan.
