Hundreds of commercial motorcycle riders popularly known as Okada have taking to the streets to protest against clampdown on their members.
The incident took place at Iyana-Iba, around the main gate to theLagos state University.
The Okada riders who made several bonfires along the expressway barricaded the entire road leading from Lagos to Badagry area of the state.

The protest was against the seizure of motorcycles belonging to their members by men of the state task force.

Meanwhile, the Rapid Response Squad while confining the incident wrote on Twitter that the police and army have successfully dispelled the rioting Okada riders.

"Police, army dispel rioting motor cyclists protesting the enforcement of Lagos Traffic law banning okada on Lagos - Badagry Highway," the RRS said.
