President Muhammadu Buhari presided over this week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
After the rumoured clash between the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita and the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the two were spotted at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, November 8.

Kyari and Oyo-Ita were seen exchanging a warm embrace and laughing at an undisclosed joke.
Recall that there were reports that Oyo-Ita confronted Kyari at the last FEC meeting, where she allegedly accused him of leaking a memo she wrote to warn President Buhari against the reappointment of Abdulrasheed Maina.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reports that President Buhari met with a joint session of the National Assembly for the presentation of the 2018 budget, a constitutional requirement in Nigeria.
The meeting of the lawmakers followed an earlier secret session held by members of the Senate and presided over by Bukola Saraki with issues including the planned scuttling of the budget presentation dominating discussion.
