Manchester United's main man Paul Pogba who pulled his hamstring in United's Champions League clash with Fc Basel in September could be in contention to return against City on December 10.
The French international has been doing his rehabilitation in the United states but return to Carrington last week.
United gaffer Jose Mourinho doesn't want to rush the former Juventus midfielder back because he wants him available for the hectic December period in the League.

United are already without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo who have both been on the treatment table since April.
But the Old Trafford boss is confident that his star players are closing in on a return to action.
Speaking to MUTV, he said: "We have the group of players which are the ones that we hope will recover as soon as possible.
"They have to work every day but they are in a good position now. Pogba, Ibra, Rojo, Fellaini.

"They are in good positions so I think we can go into this part of the season, the Christmas period, and after, in a strong position."
Manchester United have dropped eight points since Pogba got injured and have fallen far behind Premier League pace setters Manchester City.
