Abramovich is claimed to have considered Conte’s actions ‘disrespectful’ after the Chelsea gaffer sent a blunt text message to the striker which told him that he was no longer part of the first-team plans.

Chelsea are now said to have began a search for Antonio Conte's successor at Stamford Bridge, and the 48-year-old former Juventus boss is also said to be aware of the plans.

Antonio Conte in his first season as Chelsea handler helped the Blues to win the Premier League title, but this term, Chelsea are struggling to find their rhythm as they are nine points behind League leaders Manchester City.
