The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions over the Central States of the country on Wednesday with partly cloudy conditions over Ilorin, Lafia, Makurdi and Ibi.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Tuesday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 28 to 36 and 13 to 20degrees Celsius respectively.

The agency predicted that the southern states would experience cloudy morning with chances of localised thunderstorms over Owerri, the inland of the Southwest and the coast during the afternoon and evening hours.
It also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 29 to 34 and 20 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions during the forecast period with day and night temperatures in the range of 34 to 36 and 12 to 21 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Sunny and Hazy conditions are expected over the north down to the central cities with chances of localised thunderstorms over some parts of the Southern cities within the next 24 hours,’’ it added.
