A man parading himself as a king of a Yoruba land has been caught and arrested. The man identified as Olugbenga Jeremiah Oduwole was claiming to be a traditional ruler with the title Oriade of Iranmiyi kingdom, Adeyenmi II.
The man who also claimed that his palace is located at No 1, Palace Way, Iranmiyi Kingdom in Ogun state, was arrested on Thursday, December 21, in Gbagada by detectives from a police station in Ifako .
It was gathered that Oduwole has now been transferred to the Nigerian police headquarters in Ikeja, for further investigation.

According to reports, the false king was arrested after the Oba of Kweme Kingdom in Badagry, Aholu Olalekan Sejiro James, discovered that Oduwole was using his name to extort people.
The false king who claimed that he was friends with Oba of Kweme Kingdom alleged used his influence to collect money from people.
An Instagram user identified simply as victor claimed the alleged false king was his Sunday school teacher.
However, the official Twitter page of the said king shows he might be a ruler of some sort. He is yet to refute the accusations and the police is yet to confirm his arrest.
