The Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing has denied that minister, Babatunde Raji Fashola said that Nigerian roads are good.
In a brief tweet on Friday, December 1, the ministry claimed the comments ascribed to Fashola was totally distorted.
The ministry then went on to post the original statement for the sake of clarity.

The tweet read:
NAIJ.com recalls that earlier reports had claimed that Fashola said Nigerian roads are not as bad as many people say.
Fashola made the comment at a United Nations-sponsored capacity building programme for the Federal Road Safety Corps on Tuesday, November 28, in Abuja.

According to him, what the roads need are adequate maintenance at intervals.
