Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles hope to secure their first win at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2018 tournament when they face table toppers Libya today, January 19.
Salisu Yusuf's men were held to a goalless draw in their opening game against Rwanda as they failed to convert chances they had.
This is why it comes as no surprise that the team spent about 30 minutes on practicing their scoring ability in their last training session held yesterday, January 18, hours to the game.
Libya on the other hand, believe the match-day two encounter against Nigeria, will be more difficult compared to their game against Equatorial Guinea.

In a pre-match press conference, Libya's coach Omar El Maryami was quoted as saying: “The match against Nigeria will be very difficult because Nigeria is a big name in African football.
"This is a very important game for us, because victory will seal our qualification. We won the CHAN in 2014 and we want to replicate that performance."
However, Nigeria's coach Salisu Yusuf expects his team to have a better outing when they face Libya and will likely stick with the same team that started against Rwanda.
