English Premier League matchday 25 came with an utmost surprise as Swansea came from behind to thrash Arsenal 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium.
A win for Arsenal would have taken them to 45 points and place them on the same points with rivals Tottenham on 5th position.
New signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan started from the bench but it his presence could not inspire an Arsenal side that already looks condemned for a defeat.

Arsenal got the lead in the 33rd minute as Mesut Ozil sent a precise lofted cross into the box. Nacho Monreal latched on to it and finished with a quick shot into the bottom left corner. leaving the goalkeeper had no chance.
Swansea did not take much time to respond as they put one back just a minute after Arsenal finished celebrating. Alfie Mawson played a fantastic through ball and found Sam Clucas, who reacted quickly to get in front of Peter Cech and fired a close-range shot into the bottom left corner to make the score 1-1.
At the end of the first 45, the scoreline was 1-1.
The Swans finally got their much desired lead in the 61st minute as Jordan Ayew seized on the loose ball after a huge error from Petr Cech and found the back of the net from inside the box.

And the lead was finally secured in the 86th minute as Sam Clucas fired the rebound inside the right post after the ball broke to him in the box, making the scoreline 3-1.
In other Premier League matchday 25 clash Liverpool defeated Huddersfield 3-0 away from home and West Ham played a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
