A 24-year-old lady has just been arrested and charged to court for allegedly stealing and selling male friend’s generator. The generator was valued at N70,000.
Lady who was identified as Bimpe Adeite was on Friday, February 9, brought before a magistrate court in Badagry, Lagos. She was charged for stealing.
It was also disclosed that the young lady may be at risk of facing three years imprisonment charges for this act.

According to the police prosecutor, Akpan Uko, he disclosed that the accused committed the offence on Friday, January 26, at No, 13 Adamu street, Itoga in Badagry. He added that the generator belonged to the friend of the accused Daniel Akanbi.
Uko said: “The accused went to spend time with the complainant, so when he was not around on this particular day, she decided to steal the generator and sell it. She spent the money on her hair and body cream products.”
