Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is not currently having it rosy this season in the Premier League despite the Blues' current status as the reigning champions.

The Italian tactician has suffered lots of criticisms from Chelsea fans around the world following the club's poor performance in their last two Premier League games.

There are also reports that Chelsea chiefs are planning to sack the former Juventus coach at the end of the ongoing season.

But according to the times, Antonio Conte is also furious with Chelsea chiefs for failing to sign the three players he wanted in January 2018.

The report claim Antonio Conte told Chelsea chiefs to sign the trio of Alexis Sanchez, Virgil van Dijk and Alex Sandro, but the Blues' hierarchy were unable to land these players.

Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez completed a move to Manchester United from Arsenal, while Virgil Dijk joined Liverpool from Southampton.

Brazilian defender Alex Sandro was also a target for Antonio Conte last month, but Chelsea were not able to meet up with Juventus' asking price.

Chelsea instead signed Emerson from Roma, Ross Barkley from Everton and Frenchman Olivier Giroud from Arsenal, but the report claim Antonio Conte is not satisfied with the signing of these players.

The Blues are currently occupying fourth position on the Premier League standings with 50 points from 26 games and they are 19 points behind current leaders Manchester City.
