Premier League giants, Arsenal, along with other top English teams are eyeing Juventus ace Daniele Rugani.

The young defender has struggled in commanding a starting eleven spot among the Juve rank this season.

The 23-year-old Italian is highly thought of by the Italian giants, and was on the bench for their clash against Tottenham.

Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger, who is a long term admirer of the £25m centre-back will be hoping to bring him to join his side with hopes of solving his defensive troubles.

Rugani's agent, Davide Torchia, while speaking about the prowlers of the player said: "Rugani it’s an international player. He could play in any league. So also in U.K.

"He’s young. Elegant in the way of playing. I know that various top european top club follow him.

"Some are English. Arsenal? In the past, some seasons ago, we spoke with them.

"At the moment there are no official contact with them."

Torchia also told SunSport Rugani could be sold if a sizeable offer came in, like Manchester United's bid for Paul Pogba.

He added: "He is happy at Juventus. He does not want to leave Torino. And he hopes to play continuously.

"However, if they were to receive a big offert for him, maybe he could be sold."

Rugani has made 44 Serie-A appearances since breaking into the Juventus first-team in 2013, and has found the back of the net three times - not too bad a record for a defender.
