- Chelsea have offered to make Thibaut Courtois world's most expensive goalkeeper
- The 25-year-old goalkeeper is expected to earn £200,000-per-week if he signs new deal
- He has just one more season in his current deal with the Blues as Real Madrid are on his trail for a possible summer move
Premier League champions Chelsea are set to make Thibaut Courtois the highest paid goalkeeper in the world by offering him an improved contract.
The 25-year-old has been offered a £200,000-per-week new deal to remain at the Stamford Bridge having being tipped to dump the Blues for Real Madrid, who are doing their all to land the Belgian this summer.
But according to report from the Mirror, the former Atletico Madrid shot-stopper might end the speculation surrounding his future at the club by putting pen to paper in a few days’ time.
The Belgian international had earlier admitted that there was a chance for him to return to Spain with his family currently staying in the Spanish capital having spent three seasons at Atletico Madrid.

Though, Los Blancos are yet to decide on which of the goalkeepers they will sign this summer between the 25-year-old and Manchester United's David De Gea to replace Keylor Navas.
Courtois has kept 117 matches for Chelsea in all competitions since he joined them in 2011 from Genk in a deal worth €8.95 million but he is currently valued around €50 million Euro ahead of a possible move in the summer.
