Premier League side, Bournemouth, stun matchday 25 opponents Chelsea with a convincing 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

Despite the surprise defeat Chelsea still maintained 3rd position on the log on goal difference.

The Chelsea squad came more motivated into the tie after the recent announcement of new signing Oliveir Giroud.

It was the Blues as expected that piled the most pressure on the visitors as they came close to scoring in various chances - but the resilient Bournemouth held strong to take the game to a goal less first 45 minute.

To a surprise of the fans at Stamford Bridge, it was Bournamouth that got the lead in the 51st minute as a great through ball by Jordon Ibe set up Callum Wilson inside the box, and he made no mistake and banged the ball low into the middle of the goal.

The visitors piled more disgust to the home fans as they doubled their lead in the 64th minute as Junior Stanislas was put through by Callum Wilson and he showed brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball into the back of the net to make the scoreline 0-2

The game was then taken way beyond the reach of the host in the 67th minute as Nathan Ake fired the rebound into the bottom right corner after the ball broke to him in the box, to make the scoreline 0-3.

In other Premier League matchday 25 clash, Everton defeated Leicester City 2-1 and Newcastle shared the spoils 1-1 with Burnley.
