A far as the game of football is concerned today around the world, there is no country, state, or community where the name of Ronaldo has not been heard considering what he has achieved in football.

Gone are the day when the former Manchester United star used to play football on the streets of Madeira in Portugal, but today, Ronaldo is currently the best footballer in the world.

On Monday, February 5, Ronaldo who has been blessed with four children clocked 33, and the entire sporting fraternity have sent him their heartfelt wishes.

Ronaldo has now taken to his official Instagram page to thank all his people that sent their messages to wish him well on his birthday.

Born and raised on the Portuguese island of Madeira, Ronaldo was diagnosed with a racing heart at age 15 and underwent an operation to treat his condition in which he began his senior club career playing for Sporting CP before signing with Manchester United at age 18 in 2003.

He is the first player in history to win four European Golden Shoes and has also won 25 trophies in his career including five League titles, four UEFA Champions League titles and one UEFA European Championship.

In Spain, Ronaldo has won 14 trophies including two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles, three Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups, and three FIFA Club World Cups.
