The former Senate president, Senator David Mark has charged Nigerians to get their voters cards to change the change in the forthcoming general elections.
The lawmaker made the charge at Ugbokolo in Okpokwu local government of Benue state during the funeral service of the wife of the former minister of Interior, Abba Moro, Lynda Moro on Thursday, March 8, Nigerian Tribune reports.
NAIJ.com noted that Mark stated that the priest had said everything in his sermon and called on the people of the state and Nigerians in particular to heed the advice of Rev Father Sylvester Onmoke.

Reverend Father Onmoke, who is president of Catholic Diocesan Priests of Nigeria, had earlier lamented the security problem across country caused by herdsmen killings, kidnapping called on Nigerians to get their voters cards and use it wisely in the 2019 general elections.
The priest had described Nigeria as a country in mourning following incessant killings being witnessed across the country, adding that he was ashamed that the government has become docile as it watches helplessly as the country bleeds on a daily basis.
He recalled that President Mohammadu Buhari had made promised to do something to stop the killings during the visit of catholic bishops to him in Aso Rock, adding that instead of the killings to abate it has continued to increase.
Father Onmoke urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the country to overcome the issue of insecurity. He also advised catholics to arm themselves with rosaries.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Senator David Mark raised alarm over the surge in kidnappings and criminal activities in Benue state.
Mark condemned the death of a catholic priest, Reverend Father John Adeyi at the hands of kidnappers.
The former Senate president in a statement by his media assistant, Paul Mumeh, wondered what a harmless catholic priest would do to deserve that kind of dehumanisation and eventual murder by kidnappers.
