A young lady has taken to social media to call out her mother for abusing her a year ago. She dragged her mum on Twitter for bragging about good parenting.
Lady identified as Nomi (@Knowmeee) disclosed that about a year ago, her mum locked her out of the house on a Wednesday night with nowhere to go and has refused to speak to her and her brother ever since.
As if that was not enough, Nomi added that after a year of silence between them her mum showed up for her brother’s birthday and spent just 25 minutes. This post came in after her mum tweeted about being a proud mother of a qualified chartered accountant.

Nomi’s post reads: “Did you also mention how you physically abused me or locked me out of home on a Wednesday night with nowhere to go?? How we haven’t spoken in a year and you showed up to your son’s birthday for 25 minutes?? Or is that not social media worthy news? Busy preaching to other people how to Parent but you are your own children’s greatest burden. Also not here for people telling me this is not the way to tackle izindaba zasekhaya. I have carried the shame as a victim of this for over a year and this is how I choose to break my silence. I refuse to continue to be complicit in this lie through not speaking out.”

This post has generated some reactions as one Londa Mmbara (@mvenda87) disclosed that, she should not have resulted to the use of social media. He added that he knows nothing about what led to their disagreement but she should try and work things out.
