- The Belgian goalie has been linked with a move to Spanish side Real Madrid
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has stated clearly that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge next season despite news linking him away from the Blues.
His current contract at Chelsea will expire in the year 2019, and there have been speculations that he could be on his way to Real Madrid next season.
The Belgian has for the last three years been a target for the current Spanish and European League champions.
"I'm committed to Chelsea. I have a contract until next year and I will be here. I will do my best for it.
"Obviously there is no extension signed but I don't think now is the moment to do it. I think it is better to wait until the end of the season.
''All I can say is I'm committed to Chelsea and also committed for next year." Thibaut Courtois told the London Evening Standard.
