Julian Nagelsmann who is the head coach of German club Hoffenheim has emerged as another contender to replace embattled Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger's 22-year reign at Arsenal could come to an end at the end of the ongoing Premier League season even though he has a year left on his current deal with the Gunners.

He is currently under heavy fire from Arsenal supporters and the board following their side's humiliating 3-0 Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City last Sunday.

The Gunners were also condemned to another embarrassing defeat on Thursday night, March 1, at the Emirates Stadium against Manchester City.

Julian Nagelsmann is one of the hottest managerial prospects in the game despite only turning 30 last summer.

He became the youngest manager in Bundesliga history aged 28 when he took over at Hoeffenheim in February 2016.
