An elated Wanyama while speaking about his stunning goal to Spurs TV said: "I think that was one of the best goals i have scored, it was a good goal, and i am happy to win goal of the month"

Asked about Kane's jokes on his shots going wide, Wanyama then responded "The good thing is that he has apologized, and he said 'now you can shoot"
"I just reacted i just reacted before the Liverpool players and i thought i will just let it go, because the ball was bouncing and i did not want to think too much, i just let it fly"
Wanyama do not plan giving up on his long range efforts as he said "If the ball lays up, why not (i will shoot) hopefully it can get chance like that"
