A 30-year-old business man named Obinna Otigba allegedly stole from his female neighbour and took to his heels after leaving her bank account empty. According to reports, Obinna lived in the same place with the woman before he stole from her and then ran away.
As fate will have it, Obinna was caught after he had reportedly stolen her ATM card and emptied both her pension and investment accounts of N2 million. Upon his arrest, he was made to appear before Ikeja Magistrate Court on Thursday, March 7, where his deeds were mentioned before the judge.
According to reports, out of the to ATM cards stolen, only one was recovered and the accused claimed the other was lost.
