In an interesting bit of news, a hunter in Ondo state managed to do what very few have managed to do in this part of the world.
According to various sources on social media, the hunter killed an elephant in a forest in Idanre, Ondo state. However, how he killed the elephant singlehandedly or if he had help cannot be confirmed by NAIJ.com.
The hunter is seen posing on the elephant with a rifle and comments under the post on Facebook reveal the elephant destroys crops in the state and the hunter who felled the beast is named Ajaja.

The death of this animal makes one wonder if they are other elephants in the Nigerian forest that are yet to be discovered. Veteran comedian Alibaba has also reacted to the story saying the elephant is worth more to the hunter alive than dead.
