Liverpool eye world record move for Real Madrid star who has £310m release clause

- Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal could be on his way to Liverpool next summer

- Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is interested in bringing the Spaniard to Anfield

- Carvajal's contract at Liverpool will expire in the year 2022

Premier League club Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal at the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp intends to make a splash in the summer transfer window and will have money to spend following the £142 million sale of Philippe Coutinho in January 2018.

Although the Anfield outfit lavished £75 million on Virgil van Dijk, but it is the right-hand side of defense that Klopp wants to improve.

According to the report by Spanish publication Don Balon, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is impressed with the performance of Dani Carvajal this season, and want him at Anfield.

But Liverpool must be aware that his current contract will expire in the year 2022, and has a release clause of £310m.

On the other hand, Real Madrid are also interested in the signing of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah, and the two clubs could go into a swap deal.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how reigning Spanish and European League champions Real Madrid are eyeing a summer move for Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian striker has been superb this season for his Premier League club scoring 32 goals in 38 games for the Reds.

And according to the latest report by Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has told Los Blancos' president Florentino Perez to bring Salah to the club next season.
