Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Premier League club Liverpool.

Liverpool are said to have made an approach for the possibility of bringing the Frenchman to Anfield at the end of the ongoing season in Europe.

This term in the Spanish La Liga, Karim Benzema has not been impressive for Real Madrid, as he has only scored four La Liga goals.

And there are reports that Los Blancos will allow the Frenchman to face the exit doors at the Bernabeu this summer.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Liverpool head up the list and have already made an approach for the France international.

Negotiations between the Reds and Real could be rife in the summer as Jurgen Klopp is apparently also interested in signing Dani Ceballos.

Real Madrid are expected to allow Karim Benzema to join Liverpool so as to help them land Mohamed Salah as they are also interested in the Egyptian forward.
