Liverpool striker wins Player of the month of February

- Mohammed Salah has been named the Player of the Month of February

- The Liverpool striker has 24 goals, joint-top with Tottenham's Harry Kane

- Salah will be looking to add to his tally against Manchester United at Old Trafford

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has won the EA Sports Player of the Month award for February.

It is the second time this season the Egyptian star has won the accolade after previously winning it in November, 2017.

Salah scored four goals and provided two assists as the Reds bagged two wins and a draw in the Premier League last month.

"The players make it easier and the coach also makes it easier for me.

'"t's nice to win it again especially because it's the Player of the Month of the Premier League, so that's something good.

"I say always try to help reach the three points and to be in a better position," Salah said.

Salah beat off Sergio Aguero's Manchester City , Mousa Dembele's Tottenham, Pascal Gross' as well as Glenn Murray from Brighton , Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri.

The former Roma striker is enjoying an exceptional first season since joining Liverpool last summer for £39m.

The former Basel winger will have the chance to prove Jose Mourinho, who signed him from the Swiss side to Chelsea, when the Anfield giants visit Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Salah has scored 32 goals in all competitions and 24 in the Premier League, 20 of them coming from his left foot, and he is also joint-top scorer with Tottenham's Harry Kane.

Salah's terrific goal return has pulled up Jurgen Klopp's side to move just points within second placed United, and a win at the Theatre of Dreams will move them up to second.
