Former Catholic priest identified as Patrick Henry Edet has tied the knot with his beautiful wife, Inyene Sampson, this Saturday, March 17. The former priest had announced his resignation on a live radio programme to start his own ministry.
It was gathered that the traditional wedding for the couple had taken place on Thursday, March 15. NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Edet had announced his desire to start a life as an independent cleric on a live radio programme, in August, 2017.
After his resignation, all rights he enjoyed as a Catholic priest had reportedly been withdrawn by the church and Catholic Church members were reportedly banned from attending Edet’s church, Grace Family church.

The wedding ceremony took place at Ibom Hall in Uyo, Akwa Ibom. It was gathered that the couple received a large turnout from family and friends who came to celebrate with them.
NAIJ.com gathered that the bride hails from Atai Ibiaku Itam in Itu local government area of Akwa Ibom. She graduated from University of Uyo.
