PSG ready to pay £89m plus Draxler for Real Madrid star

Paris Saint Germain chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is reportedly ready to use the visit of Real Madrid to Parc Des Prince to discuss a transfer move for Casemiro, Diario Gol reports.

According to Diario Gol, PSG are prepared to pay cash plus player with a fee around £89million for the Brazilian and offer the German winger Julian Draxler in exchange as part of the deal.

Casemiro has been one of Real Madrid’s key players in last three seasons and would make a great fit for an ambitious team like PSG as they are gradually becoming a dominant force in European football.

Draxler, on the onter hand, is another fine player but has not been enjoying a regular first football under Unai Emery’s starting XI following the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The 24-year-old German could be a good fit for Real, playing back up for the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema who both had a slow start to the season.

Gareth Bale could also leave the Bernabeu due to recurring injury problems and Draxler's inclusion would fill the vacuum.

The swap deal involving Casemiro and Draxler could be tempting for the Spanish giants but Los Blancos might have a rethink on who would replace the Brazilian in the pivotal role in midfield.

Zinedine Zidane's men hold a 3-1 aggregate lead from the Bernabeu and they will need to put their act together in the crucial fixture at Parc Des Princes.
