The pastor was also sentenced to three years in jail or a R30‚000 fine for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Half of the fine for assault was, however, suspended.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that on Wednesday, December 13, a 20-year-old lady identified as Thabiso Chabalala got her pastor arrested after the man of God sprayed insecticide on her face during a deliverance session.
Prophet Rabalago is the founder of Mount Zion General Assembly, Limpopo, South Africa. Ever since he was charged to court, he had been charged with five counts of assault and contravening environmental laws after pictures of him spraying congregants emerged online.
The young lady further disclosed that she made a mistake allowing the prophet to spray her face with the insecticide.
Chabalala said: “I was taken by surprise. I thought that was how God instructed him to conduct the healing. I regret it.”
