Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly teased Gunners’ fans that a deal for his former teammate at Borussia Dortmund, Sokratis Papastathopoulos is done.
The Gabon international moved to the Emirates mid-season from Dortmund and took to the social media to respond positively on a post linking Papastathopoulos with a summer move to Arsenal.
Thus giving the fans the impression that the deal has been sealed.
The post read: “With Sokratis close to joining arsenal. Who is excited to see these 3 playing in the same team again?”

Interestingly, new Arsenal manager, Unai Emery is currently combing the transfer market for quality additions ahead of the 2018/19 campaign as he plans to rebuild the team he inherited from former Gunners’ boss, Arsene Wenger.
And latest reports coming out from Football London, suggests Emery is eager to seal his first signing and believes the Greek will be a good addition to the Arsenal squad that finished 6th in the Premier League log last season.

The Greek defender alongside the duo of Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were together at Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund and their previous bounding will help Papastathopoulos settle down if he eventually makes the move to the Emirates.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has explained that he would love to make a return to newly crowned Spanish champions Barcelona, but stressed that he is currently happy at the Emirates.
The 23-year-old Spaniard has been linked with a move back to the La Liga champions having left the club in 2011.
Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan are said to be monitoring his situation at the Emirates.
