- Deontay Wilder confirms he will fight Anthony Joshua in the United Kingdom
- Both fighters are the only unbeaten champions in the heavyweight division
- The fight could hold in September/October if the final agreement is completed
The long awaited unification fight between Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua will finally hold as the American has agreed to fight in the United Kingdom.
The mouth-watering heavyweight bout has been on the cards since both fighters defeated Luiz Ortiz and Joseph Parker respectively.
After Joshua's victory over Joseph Parker in Cardiff back in April, he seemingly called out Wilder, saying: "Wilder, let's go baby! Let's go!"
It had been thought AJ would have to travel to the United States to fight Wilder who has 40 wins in 40 fights, but "We're staying right here!" was his response when asked whether he would be have to head Stateside to make it happen.

Now it looks like the 28-year old's terms have been met, with the Bronze Bomber taking to Twitter to reveal he has agreed to terms.
There are a couple more formalities to sort out before the it can completely be a done deal as the whole world await the unbeaten heavyweight fighters come neck-to-neck in probably September/October.
Shelly Finkel who is Wilder's co-manager also confirmed that the contract contains a clause for a rematch on Wilder's turf to take place.
"That was in the offer, yes," he told World Boxing News.
"They asked for the rematch to be in place, so we've agreed to it.
"We got two big punchers, big men, undefeated and have knocked out each opponent apart from one on each side - it's a humungous fight."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported Anthony Joshua unified the IBF, WBA, and WBO titles when he defeated New Zealand fighter Joseph Parker.
Parker took Joshua to extreme as the bout ended in a unanimous decision in favour of the Nigerian born British fighter.
