A Real Madrid fan has tricked onlookers to believe that he was burning Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid jersey on fire following his recent move to Serie A champions Juventus .

According to a video posted by Twitter user @BreatheRonaldo the Galaticos fan was captured on camera attempting to light up a Real Madrid jersey with Ronaldo’s name bodily written on the back but after the light failed to come up, he dropped a goodwill message written in capital letters, 'Thank You SO MUCH.'

Interestingly, Ronaldo is scheduled to undergo the routine medicals at Juventus’ training centre on Monday morning before being unveiled following the £105m switch from Spanish side Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old Ronaldo will also attend an interview session later in his first official press conference after quitting the Los Blancos for the Serie A outfit.

The Portuguese netted 451 times in 438 appearances for the Galaticos during the nine seasons he spent at the Spanish topflight.

In a post on Los Blancos website, the five-time world’s best player revealed that he requested to move on as "the time has come for a new cycle".

Ronaldo equally confirmed that his stay at the Los Blancos after his then world-record fee of £80m from Premier League side Manchester United, was "possibly the happiest of my life."
