Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna central senatorial district, was at the home of Pastor Hosea Akuchi of the Baptist Church, who was killed by kidnappers in Igabi local government area, to condole with his family.
The senator, who shared photos taken during the condolence visit with Akuchi family, called on security agencies to fish out the criminals who killed the pastor and abducted his wife on Sunday, August 19.
Senato Sani, after the visit, tweeted: "The Killing of Pastor Hosea Akuchi of the Baptist Church and the abduction of his wife in Igabi LG Kaduna state by kidnappers stands condemned. Security agencies must step up efforts to fish out these. My condolences to the families of the deceased.
"Pastor Hosea Akuchi of the Baptist Church was brutally murdered in the presence of his children; his wife was also abducted by kidnappers last sunday in Kaduna. Today, I visited his children, aged mother and a brother he left behind."

Recall that NAIJ.com earlier reported that Akuchi's wife, Talatu, was abducted by the bandits after they killed her husband.
According to a witness, said the bandits arrived the community around 1.am and forced their way into the apartment of the clergyman after shooting sporadically in the air.
