Arsenal defence ace Hector Bellerin is a proud owner of a piece of artwork after receiving a portrait of himself from British artist Endless.

According to a UK Daily Mail report the Spaniard was caught on camera as he collected the beautiful work of art in his secret central London man-cave on Thursday.

The former Barcelona ace requested the artist Endless to create the piece after the pair met, alongside Gunners pal Alex Iwobi, during an exhibition show in Kensington August 2017.

The piece of artwork forms part of Endless's new Deities collection, a series of paintings highlighting the difference between old and modern day symbols of worship.

The Spanish international Bellerin was seen in the painting against a backdrop of Augsburg Cathedral's window arches while wearing a halo over his head that has an Endless's 'Chapel' logo.

Speaking after receiving his portrait the Arsenal defender admitted he was pleased with the piece of art.

“In my opinion Endless is one of the best and coolest British artists out there today," Bellerin said, even as he was quick to some of the messages hidden in the painting.

“His work appears bold and raw on the face of it, but when you look closely each piece contains a powerful message about worship in the world today.

“With my interest in fashion and culture, his art speaks to me on many levels, and that's why I commissioned this piece. I am glad to have finally received my artwork and am humbled Endless is going to feature it as part of his Deities collection,” Bellerin added.

Reacting on his latest creation for the Arsenal star, the mysterious artist Endless stressed that he was satisfied with his work, saying: “I was very interested when Hector came to me with this commission.

“His position as a professional footballer and fashion status symbol means he is the perfect balance between the various things people worship today.”
