- Thibaut Courtois set for his Real Madrid debut against Girona
- The 26-year-old is yet to feature for Los Blancos this season
- The Belgian is tipped to take over from impressive Keylor Navas
The competition between Real Madrid goalkeepers is on a new dimension, as both Keylor Navas and Thibaut Courtois are giving their best in training to see who becomes number one.
However it seems like the Belgian shot-stopper has won the battle and is set to make his debut in Los Blancos' visit to Girona.
Coach Julen Lopetegui will appear at the pre-match press conference and surely one of the questions will be of the 6'6'' goalkeeper and his potential debut.

Lopetegui will most likely not inform pressmen on his decision but everything looks like Courtois will be Madrid's goalkeeper against the Catalan side.
The ex-Chelsea man has progressed rapidly in recent training sessions and he now looks to be the favourite to be placed in the goal.
Keylor already confirmed he is up for the challenge after the signing of Courtois and has been in goal in the UEFA Super Cup and the 2-0 victory over Getafe.
"I'm as eager to leave Madrid as to die," the Costa Rican said.
Courtois, was in Tallinn along with the rest of Los Blancos but he failed to get the call-up in the UEFA Super Cup against Atletico Madrid.

Then, at the Bernabeu against Getafe, he made the squad list, but was left on the bench for the entire 90 minutes of the match as Keylor put in a high-level performance and keeping a clean sheet.
Now, all eyes will be on Madrid's new manager and whether he will opt for the Carlo Ancelotti formula - a goalkeeper for La Liga and another for the Champions League - or a designated keeper who will face the most of the matches this season.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported former Real Madrid star Kaka has tipped two players to win the 2018 Ballon d'Or - and its neither Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.
The 2007 winner with AC Milan is backing either Croatia's Luka Modric or France's Kylian Mbappe to pick up the accolade.
