It is another exciting season of Champions League football as teams will be vying to make it out of the group stages.
Teams have been grouped from A to H as the top two placed teams will make it into the round of 16 while teams who come third will drop into the Europa League.
This season's competition is expected to take another dimension as team's will be hoping to dethrone Real Madrid's dominance in the last three years.
Here are the 16 teams that will most likely make it through to the next round of the competition.
1. Group A - Atletico Madrid and Dortmund
Group A is a group that comprises Europa League champions Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge and Monaco.
Diego Simeone's side are favourites to make it through to the next round while the battle for second place will be between Dortmund and Monaco.

2. Group B - Barcelona and Tottenham
Barcelona will likely top the group but will be given a run for their money by English side Tottenham Hotspurs.
Luciano Spalletti's Inter Milan are making a return into the Champions League after several years absent and Dutch side PSV could be the whipping boys in the group.
3. Group C - Liverpool and PSG
Last season's finalists, Liverpool and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are the football heavyweights in the group and are expected to make it into the last 16.
Napoli and Red Star Belgrade might not have the quality pull an upset but will the Italian side will give a account of themselves in the group-of-death, as it promises to be exciting.
4. Group D - Galatasary and Porto
It is a winner takes all group as three of the teams are evenly equal in terms of squad depth.
However, with experience of the Turkish and Portuguese side, Lomkotiv Moscow and Schalke will have to settle for a Europa League spot on the table.
5. Group E - Bayern Munich and Benfica
The Bundesliga champions are one of the sides to beat in this season's competition and they are expected to make it through under their new manager Niko Kovac.
Benfica's experience could prove vital over the likes of other contenders in the group including Ajax and Greek side AEK Athens.
6. Group F - Manchester City and Shakhtar Donetsk
Pep Gaurdiola's side are favourites to get into the next round in the group and will leave the pieces for the Ukrainian side.
Bundesliga side Hoffenheim will making a first time appearance in the tournament as they are expected to enjoy their ride with other top teams.
French side Lyon are back but the question is - will they be able to compete with the depth of Man City and Shakhtar Donetsk?

7. Group G - Real Madrid and Roma
The defending champions have found themselves in the seventh group with semi finalists Roma as both sides are expected to come first and second respectively.
CSKA Moscow and Czech Republic side Viktoria might give little challenge to the highly squad of Los Blancos and the Stadio Olympico outfit.
8. Group H - Juventus and Manchester United
The most decorated player in the Champions League will be wearing the white and black stripes of Juventus as the Portuguese star will be looking to clinch the title for the Biaconeri since 1995.
Jose Mourinho's side on the other hand, will have to cement his place in the group or settle for second spot as Valencia are likely to come third.
