Buhari departs for summit with Aisha, daughter in China (photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, August 31, departed Abuja for Beijing, China to attend the Forum on China-Africa Corporation (FOCAC) Summit.

NAIJ.com gathered that the summit which is themed Towards an even Stronger China-Africa Community with a shared Future is scheduled to hold between September 3 and 4.

President Buhari was accompanied accompanied by one of his daughters and wife, Aisha, who was scheduled to participate in a Spouses’ Programme on China-Africa at the Great Hall of the People, under the theme, Joining Hands for a Future of AIDS.

Also on the President’s entourage are Governors Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, Akinwunmi Ambode, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and Rochas Anayo Okorocha of Bauchi, Lagos, Jigawa and Imo states respectively.

Others are Senators Abdullahi Adamu, George Akume, Godswill Akpabio and Aliyu Wamakko representing Nasarawa, Benue, Akwa Ibom and Sokoto states respectively.

Also accompanying the president are: the ministers Geoffrey Onyeama; Rotimi Amaechi; Babatunde Fashola and Muhammad Bello; Okechukwu Enelamah; Udoma Udo Udoma; Suleiman Adamu; Ibe Kachikwu, and Hadi Sirika.
