"We're in August. There are a lot of points to play for and the real season starts after the international break. With three games every week, the travelling and no time to prepare for the games.
"Unfortunately it's our job (the criticism). Our job depends on results. When we win we are good, when we don't we are not good.
"When you get to that level, they are top, top managers,” Guardiola was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Manchester United may have started the new campaign poorly but if history is anything to go by, the Jose Mourinho tutored-side can still storm back to reckoning and cart home the silverware.
At the last count, United were hammered 3-0 by Tottenham at Old Trafford, meaning that they have just three points from their opening three matches in the English topflight in the new season.
According to a UK Daily Mail report, the Red Devils lost their two opening three games of a season 26 years ago during the 1992-93 campaign, but ended up claiming the league top prize.
