Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly put the Premier League club up for sale but the Russian billionaire will only sell for massive £3 billion.

According to the report by SunSport, Roman Abramovich has brought in strategists from a New York bank to advise him about a potential sale.

Recently, the Blues were linked with Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe over taking over the club from the Russian billionaire.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe was said to have shown interest in buying Chelsea after Roman Abramovich was denied an application for a new UK Visa.

The report also explained that Roman Abramovich has not been seen at Chelsea since new manager Maurizio Sarri took over from Antonio Conte in July.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have been impressive this season in the Premier League and they are currently occupying third position on the table with 16 points.
