- He has lost his position in the starting lineups at Chelsea this season

- The Englishman is also a target for Manchester United

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has reportedly emerged as a January 2019 transfer target for Premier League side West Ham United.

Since the arrival of new Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri, Gary Cahill has been struggling for games at Stamford Bridge playing only once this season in the English top flight.

The 32-year-old Englishman is said to have admitted that he would leave the Blues next year unless there is a change in his current situation with the Blues.

And according to the report by Mirror, London rivals West Ham are considering making a move to snap him up when the transfer window opens.

The report added that Manuel Pellegrini has been given the go-ahead to look at bolstering his squad in January as he continues to overhaul things at the London Stadium.
