Nigerian Troops of 112 Task Force Battalion have neutralised Boko Haram terrorists in Ajiri area of Borno state.
NAIJ.com gathered that the gallant Troops of 112 Task Force Battalion carried out a fighting patrol between Bale junction and Ajiri in Borno state on Thursday, October 11.

According to a statement on the Army headquarters Facebook page, the area is believed to be a sleeper cell of Boko Haram terrorists for hibernating.

The patrol team engaged the terrorists and neutralized two of them, recovering one bicycle, clothing and foodstuffs.
The chief of Army staff, Lt Gen TY Buratai has commended the gallant troops and directed them to intensify patrols in the general area.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that Troops on Operation Lafiya Dole in their effort to combat terrorism in the country killed three Boko Haram members during an encounter in Monguno local government area of Borno state.

In a statement by Texas Chukwu who is the spokesperson of the Nigerian army, the incident happened on Friday, June 28. One soldier was injured in the attack while the weapons used by the terrorists were recovered.
